Tessa van Veenendaal

Tessa is a medical student from Monash University in Australia, currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD). Having completed four out of her five-year degree, Tessa is looking forward to completing her Honours year and associated research at the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics in 2024. Throughout this time, she will be supervised by Dr Brian Earp from Oxford University and Dr Julian Koplin from Monash University. With the honours year focusing specifically on Bioethics, Tessa is eager to further develop her knowledge of all areas under this field of study. Tessa is especially interested in pursuing a topic in reproductive ethics, an area that she has been exploring throughout her studies. Outside of study, Tessa enjoys playing netball and travelling, as well as cooking for friends and family.
