Originating from New Zealand, Olivia Donaldson has completed 4 years of her Medical education through Monash University, Melbourne. She will conduct her Honours-year and associated research in 2024 through Oxford’s Uehiro Centre, focusing on BioEthics. Throughout this period she will be supervised by Dr Katrien Delvolder, and Monash-based supervisor Prof. Catherine Mills. She has long-held an interest in clinical ethics, having completed a paper on the ethics of genitoplasty in infancy in Sweden, and is looking forward to exploring this field further during her time in Oxford. Olivia has a particular interest in reproduction ethics, especially regarding recent technological advancements, including the ethics surrounding the use of mitochondrial donation in IVF.
