Uncomfortable Oxford: city centre walking tour

Walking tour of central Oxford

Join us for an Uncomfortable Tour of Oxford!

The lovely stone of Oxford's colleges come alive in this tour as you are led through an interactive map of the city. Each 'stop' will raise conversations about Oxford's imperial history, slave wealth, diversity, and controversial historical memory. Participants will be asked to view the landscape of the city with a critical eye, while learning many of the hidden histories that lie beneath its cobblestones.

This ninety minute-long walking tour, led by the student-run tour group Uncomfortable Oxford, will be joined by Uehiro Centre philosopher Tess Johnson. To book a place, please click through to Uncomfortable Oxford's eventbrite booking page.
