Paul is a DPhil student working on animal and population ethics. He is interested in how humans control animal populations, particularly in agricultural contexts, and the questions this raises around ethical farming, non-identity, and duties for consumers. His project is supervised by Dr Cesar Palacois-Gonzales and funded by Reuben College.
Before Oxford, Paul received his MPhil and BA from the University of Cambridge. He is also interested in experimental philosophy, personal (and animal) identity, and philosophy of homelessness.
