Jennifer is a medical student from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. She has recently completed her fourth year of the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, and will be spending 2024 completing her BMedSc(Hons) degree in Bioethics at the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics in 2024, under the Faculty of Philosophy. Jennifer’s honours project will be in one of her key areas of interest; bioethical considerations surrounding reproductive medicine and technologies. Her honours project will be co- supervised by Dr Molly Johnston from Monash University and Dr Joanna Demaree- Cotton, from the University of Oxford . Jennifer hopes that her research in the area of reproductive bioethics, specifically reproductive materials and their use, will further cultivate her interest in this area, as well as act as a bridge between her interests in ethical reasoning, social justice, and positive clinical and patient outcomes. Outside of her studies and research, Jennifer enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing tennis, skiing and Pilates, as well as exploring new cafes in search of the best cup of coffee.
