Daniel is a Hosted Research Fellow at the Uehiro Oxford Institute where he is conducting the project 'Psychedelic Ethics' funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. Daniel's research interests lie at the intersection of bioethics, decision theory, and cognitive science, with a current focus on ethical issues in psychedelic-assisted therapy. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Zurich, a PhD in Behavioural Economics from the University of St. Gallen, and an MSc in Psychology from the University of Zurich. His work has been published in the American Journal of Bioethics, Journal of Medical Ethics, Neuroethics, Synthese, Inquiry, Philosophical Psychology, and other journals.
