Dr Marcel van Ackeren
Associate Faculty Member, Faculty of Philosophy
Marcel van Ackeren currently works on range of projects in Ethics (past and present), especially demandingness and demandingness objections, and related topics like supererogation, ought-implies-can, moral rationalism and the authority of morality. He also is interested in philosophy of philosophy and the question if and how the historical perspective can contribute to current debates in philosophy is concerned. Marcel is the author of four monographs, the co-editor of three special issues, the (co-)editor of ten anthologies and the author of twenty-five journal articles and book chapters.
