Susan has a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) besides an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh (USA) and Pforzheim University (Germany). She is reading for the MSt Practical Ethics at the University of Oxford. Susan is a professor for entrepreneurship at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. She researches and publishes in the areas of entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurs’ actions, and social entrepreneurship. The ethical issue that interests her urgently is the responsibility of entrepreneurship educators to create content for the next generation of reflective, responsible, and holistic entrepreneurs better able to shape an economy that contributes to human welfare. A second area close to her heart is the responsibility of entrepreneurs in transforming the prevailing economic system into a more sustainable and humane one.
