Anri Asagumo received her M.D from Ehime University School of Medicine in 2016. She was a visiting scholar on the Oxford Uehiro-St Cross Visiting Programme, and is now studying for the Masters in Practical Ethics. Prior to Oxford, she practised clinically as a physician at Teine Keijinkai Hospital. She works on medical ethics, and her research interests include issues concerning resource allocation, autonomy of incompetent individuals, and end-of-life decisions.
