Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Uehiro Oxford Institute invites expressions of interest from postdoctoral scholars who wish to apply for a MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship, with a deadline of Friday 17 April 2026.

These are prestigious EU funded fellowships which can bring overseas early career researchers to Oxford to work with an identified supervisor. Fellowships would commence MT27.

  • Eligibility: the rules are complex, but broadly:
     
    • Applicants should have a doctoral degree by the time of the deadline for applications (09 Sept 2026).
    • Have a maximum of eight years’ experience in research, from the date of the award of their PhD degree.
    • Must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the UK for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.
  • Duration: Up to two years.
     
  • How to apply: Interested candidates should complete the Expression of Interest form and include a maximum 2-page CV.  They should also ask their proposed supervisor to send an email confirming their support and availability over the summer to provide input and feedback on their application. These documents should be sent to the Uehiro Oxford Institute research office by the deadline.
  • Deadline for Expressions of Interest: Friday 17 April 2026. Applicants selected by the Institute will be supported to submit applications to the call deadline on 9 September 2026.
